Become A Subscriber

Noosa Community Radio is a mainly self-funded volunteer organisation. That means we depend on the community and sponsorships for support. Many people in the community enjoy what we provide – a forum for local news, alternative views and a diverse variety of music. In addition, we support the local community in as many ways as we can, by providing free on-air announcements and/or helping out at local events, such as the Peregian Originals live outdoor concerts.

If you appreciate what we do and would like to help us continue, we’d like to invite you to become a subscriber. You can now support the station by subscribing online. SUBSCRIBE ONLINE

Subscribers enjoy many of the benefits that our members do, the main exceptions being that they are not eligible to volunteer at the station or to attend and vote at our formal meetings.

The first 100 new subscribers from 11th May will receive a CD featuring a prominent Sunshine Coast/SEQ artist/band. Our next 200 new subscribers will enjoy a compilation of local artists featured on “Noosa Soundwaves” Vol 1 or 2. For links to supporting bands, click here BAND CONTRIBUTIONS. All new subscribers are eligible for LOCAL DISCOUNTS and PRIZES drawn each night at around 7 pm, and at our Outside Broadcasts. Winners will be announced on air.

You can meet our team at our next outside broadcast, scheduled for:

Peregian Originals on Sunday 20th May from 1 till 5pm, with a special prize drawn at around 4.45 pm – a 1 day Fraser Island Tour, donated by Discovery Group.

Our recent outside broadcasts were at:
Cooroora Woodworkers’ Annual Wood + Craft Show – Friday 11th May with a special prize – a 1 day Fraser Island Tour, donated by Discovery Group – won by John from Carters Ridge;

Eumundi Body Art Carnivale – Saturday 12th May with a special prize – a $120 food and beverage voucher at Cato’s Bar and Restaurant, donated by the Sheraton Noosa – won by Ellen from Doonan;
