Our Studios Have a New Sound and Look Fantastic!

June 28th, 2008 · No Comments · Station News

After a week and a bit, we were back on air. Everyone who’d been in to check out the studios has had only one remark – “It’s great!” Indeed it is and we are very proud. But…you might be wondering why the photo of the bowl of citrus on the floor of one of the studios. The tradies gave us a trick – soak some oranges and lemons in some water, leave it overnight and it takes away the smell of fresh paint. Easy! Hmmm, looking at that now, I wonder if the fruit had anything to do with the new colours in the studios.

Thanks are due to the Council, the builder and plasterer for seeing through this rectification, as well as the painter. Thanks also to those who helped to pack all the gear away and those who helped afterwards with cleaning and reinstalling. Thanks too to Sheng for his technical expertise in helping us to broadcast from an off-site location during the work.

Drop in and have a look at our well sound-proofed and spruced up studios with their new look paint. It’s just not quite the same as the photos.
