Every Thursday I welcome you to join me the Debstar as I endeavour to entertain, enlighten and engage you with a diverse range of music and information. Delivered with warmth and wit I hope to fully utilise the privilege of being a presenter on Noosa Community Radio 101.3fm and give back to our Community which constantly offers me the best… of everything!
Currently I present the midday show “Feelin’ Lucky” depending on ‘the many moods of Deb’ this title can be said in the tone of Dirty Harry or Bachelor Girl’s Tania Doko or perhaps Kylie M. Either way I am lucky to be doing all that I do on the Sunshine Coast and being a valued presenter on Noosa Community Radio. My show features an eclectic mix of music from nearly all genres. Heavy metal and Hip-hop do not feature on my show…I think I need to do some additional music appreciation classes as those two genres just do not ‘rock my boat’… well not yet. This music and any information on my show are generally coordinated to compliment a community theme ie Clean Up Australia Day, Jeans for Genes Day, Noosa Triathlon etc.
I’m always eager to hear feedback about my show, especially how to make it better so – don’t be shy; Come check us out, pop into the J to say G’day and perhaps you also may decide to become a member of the NCR family.
