Gary Rice spent most of his working life in the corporate world, in Sydney and Melbourne, at CEO level in TV Broadcasting (and some in Radio). After nearly 30 years of that he moved to the Sunshine Coast just over a decade ago to pursue his own business interests in Tourism. He is still involved in that. Gary’s interest in Noosa Community Radio was largely as a means of making a contribution to the local community.
His music interests are wide and varied from popular, to jazz to classical (he was a semi-professional musician in his late teens/early 20s).
