Michael’s international working career covers banking, public affairs and communications, government, the arts and entertainment sector, tourism and the environment. In 2008, Michael was elected as a community representative on the board of Noosa Biosphere Limited, the 1st UNESCO biosphere reserve in Queensland. He is the inaugural Chairman. Michael is also in his third term as chair of Tourism Noosa. Voices of the Biosphere is a magazine style program featuring subject expert interviews and topical commentary that positions biosphere news, biosphere activity and community within the context of the values and principles of the Noosa Biosphere Reserve.
